The first step to unlocking is facial recognition, a quick login that opens a dialogue with the digital world. The system deconstructs the face into data points, rendering it into a form that nonhuman intelligence can perceive. Stripped of its biological attributes, the face becomes a symbolic proxy that enters the system. To communicate with the nonhuman, one must first approximate its mode of perception.

Within facial recognition, the user's face shifts from an interface of expression to an operational tool: a lock, a login, and a technological interface. If the face no longer expresses subjectivity, what does it mean for it to become entangled with an artificial intelligence that has no need for a face? Referencing facial massage tools, the 3D sculpture invites viewers to activate the work with their own faces, generating an incomplete scan and user ID at the threshold of becoming a virtual avatar.

解鎖的第一步是臉部感應—快速登入，開啟數位世界的新對話。臉部偵測系統將面部解構成節點，數據化為非人類智慧能觀看的樣子。人類的臉拋去了生物屬性，化身為符號性的代理進入系統。要與非人溝通，首先要把自己變身成近似非人的模式。在臉部識別系統中，使用者的臉成為一道鎖、一個登入的開關，從表達意義的介面成為開放性的工具。

臉的工具化是否意味著它將作為一種非人的技術介面，與主體性的表達逐漸分離？而如果人類使用者的臉部不再表達意義，「臉孔」在數位環境中與不需要臉的人工智慧交纏又意味著什麼？3d雕塑的形體上參考臉部按摩工具，從物理塑形出發逐漸前往數位流動的形式。觀眾的臉也在此成為變身的按鈕，感應後將隨機生成一個掃描未完成的影像和使用者id，指向成為虛擬化身「登入」下一件作品的前一刻。
